The phenotype of Thai cats is a peculiar beige body color combined with unusual blue eyes. Such coloring with darker markings on the head, ears, legs and tail is called acromelanism. This breed is unmodified, naturally bred.
Kittens are white at birth, and only later, their heads begin to color - a darker mask is formed, and darker legs and tail remain.
Possible eye color – blue. There should be a clear contrast between pigmented body parts and the light base color.

Dark brown, black point (Seal point): body color from warm pale fawn to creamy beige. Body shading in feature color. The characteristics of this coloring in Thai cats are deep saturated dark brown (seal brown) colors to almost black. Nose tip and paw pads same color as markings.
Chocolate points (Chocolate point): body color – ivory without shading. The characteristics of this coloring for Thai cats are warm shades of milk chocolate color. The tip of the nose and paw pads are cinnamon pink.
Blue points: body color – bluish white of cold tones. Body shading in feature color. The features of this coloring in Thai cats are deep bluish gray. The tip of the nose and the pads of the paws are deep gray.
Lilac points: body color – glacial white, without shading. The features of this coloring for Thai cats are frosty gray with a pinkish tone. Nose tip and paw pads in lavender pink color.

Red points (Red point): body color - white. Body shading in apricot color. The characteristics of this coloring in Thai cats are pronounced in the color of red-gold tones (reddish gold). Fine dark brown spots are acceptable - freckles on the tip of the nose, paw pads, lips, eyelids and ears.
Cream color variete (Cream point): body color - white. Body shade - cream. This coloring for Thai cats is characterized by a cream color of warm tones. Light streaking on the mask, paws and tail is not considered a serious flaw, but is not desirable. Nose tip and paw pads in pink. Tortie points (Tortie point) - features that look like a turtles shell. Body color - any of the above. Markings can be unusual and beautifully spotted or spotted in combinations of all the above colors on the head, nose, ears, legs and tail. Features can be in a combination of two colors - black (and its derivatives) and red. The third shade - the cream is light red in color. Tortoise color is most often found in cats. The most common coloring together with another - dark brown tortoise points (seal tortie point), chocolate tortoise points (chocolate tortie point), caramel tortoise points (caramel tortie point), cinnamon tortie point (cinnamon tortie point) and others.
Tabby point - body color - from white to creamy beige, darkening to light gray-brown with stripes across the body as the cat ages. Mask, ears, paws, tail with gray-brown stripes, the stripes become brighter as the cat grows. The striped features should be of the same color as possible, black stripes connect the mask to the ears and cover the entire muzzle, including the place where the mustache grows. The mask should not extend over the back of the head. The tip of the nose is pale orange with a black border, the pads of the paws are light pinkish-brown or dark brown, depending on the color of the body.
